Projecting K-5 Enrollment in New York City Public Schools

چکیده

We sought to use machine learning algorithms to predict K-5 school enrollment counts across census tracts and across years within Community District 20 in New York City. We used census data and historical counts as our input, and output enrollment count predictions for grades, census tracts and future years.
